The Westin Riverfront Resort Avon Vail Valley

Best hotel we’ve been to in Colorado. Better than the Ritz up the road for a lower price and better service. Love the staff, views, and restaurants.Rooms: 5/5

Stayed here in July with my wife. The resort is beautiful with incredible views. My room was dated and had a terrible view looking out at a construction site. The toilet was not working at our arrival. Told the front desk and they sent someone in to fix it. After using it once, it broke again. Told management and they sent someone to keep fixing it which continued daily for the duration of the trip. I’m very easy going and patient so I did not make a big deal, but when checking out I decided to share my experiences with the manager. She told me she would have given me a new room if she knew earlier and said she would comp my hotel charges. Well that didn’t happen and I was not even supplied with a copy of my bill. In the bonvoy app it still says “hotel bill is being prepared.” I tried calling for weeks asking for a copy and if I ever got through, I was eventually disconnected. Management/ front desk is terrible. I travel weekly and haven’t seen such a poorly trained crew. The rest of the staff was incredible! Especially the valet and bar staff at the lobby bar. The pool service wasn’t great, but they were trying.Rooms: Dated

This review is more about Evan at the check in desk than it is about the Westin (though the hotel is obviously great too). But Evan was the shining star, he helped us out of a terrible hotel snafu, and got us in for the weekend with the most incredible service. We are very appreciative of Evan and will definitely be back because of him.

Great location. The pool and workout areas are super nice. The pool can definitely be chilly at times as it didnt seem to be heated or at least not heated very much. The rooms are fine.Rooms: 5/5
