He knew the Malvasia of Punta Aria, as he tasted during the fairs, and I was really curious to know the place where this nectar is produced. We arrived with a considerable delay, but the sommelier Maurizia still welcomed us with a smile. Visit the vineyards with a splendid view and the wine cellar, tasting of the two wines and a small combination with local cheeses. Everything is perfect! After tasting we also stopped at the farm where chef Filippo served us prepared dishes with fresh fish of the day! A half day of relaxation, educational and very tasty!
Malvasia tasting Bad tasting. The absolutely incompetent and incapable guide, completely ignorant on one of the main products that the Aeolian Islands can offer, the malvasia. Bathroom, bed, kitchen, everything seems waste material taken at the end of life by other accommodation.
Very neglected structure, but with exorbitant prices. A normal portion of parmigiana to 15 euros! Slow and detached service. An experience to forget!
