Our lunch was an all you can eat buffet at a reasonable price. One lady was working at the reception and taking our order and waitressing so perhaps it was good that it was self-service. In fact the food was fresh and hot and checked frequently. There was some choice for the vegetarian member of our party.
By far the best fettuccine I've eaten in many years. The price was more reasonable than the big city eateries and the service was excellent. Sorry the picture only shows the empty bowl but I was too busy enjoying it to catch a shot earlier
Well, the gyoza was good, but we didn't enjoy anything else. My son ordered nachos and we asked if they were spicy, and we were told no, but they were covered with raw onions and little cheese - not $12 worth. He was quite disappointed. I had a sushi platter, and I love sushi, but the rolls fell apart and had so much rice that you could not taste anything else. The presentation was beautiful though. My husband had a bolgoki burger based on another reviewer on here and he did not like it. The tomato was so hard that when he tried to take a bite, the whole burger fell apart. The young man serving was friendly, and the gyoza was good. I feel bad about the review, but it is our experience. There was another table nearby who had a ton of sushi and they seemed to love it - I have sushi quite often, and this is not a place where I would go to again for it.
This is my second time visiting Vulcan and going to this restaurant. I have yet to eat the western menu but I do appreciate the Korean meal I had there. It was early afternoon so I was the only person present. I chose Jabchae because I had never had it and it sounded interesting. Think noodle dish with stir fry mixed in. The meat is much like Bulgogi, sweet beef, and the sauce was soaked up by all the noodles. Very tasty. The food took a while to get to me but I assume they don't get too many visitors at 2pm on a weekday so they may have had to turn of the stove or something. My server was very attentive and I spoke with him a little while I waited. Friendly. This is the place I will be stopping at for the rest of my visits to this lovely little town.
Stopped here as our other choices were closed, glad we did. The menu is varied and has a great selection of different types of food. We had heard other people at the convention saying the food was good. We started with tasty spring rolls nice and hot. I had the lemon chicken with rice and vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It was not just a deep fried chicken breast covered with lemon sauce but closer to a stir fry done in lemon sauce. My brother had the seafood fettuccini which was huge and he said delicious. This is the restaurant in the Inn. Nice place to eat when you happen to be in Vulcan.
