Ángelos - Vovousa

After an enchanting route through endless forests from Monodendri to the enchanting Vovousa, we met for dinner at the Angelos tavern. We will remember the ribs, but also the excellent feta we tried, which is produced by a small local production unit near the village. The olive oil was of very good quality and they did not skimp on it at all. The interior is modest, but the river view makes up for it. Mr. Angelos and his wife are genuinely hospitable and make you feel very at home. Be careful, the sign is small and may not be seen if one is not observant enough

Finally, traditional food and traditional atmosphere! After 2 days of super touristy food in Metsovo, we had country house with tomato at room temperature and feta pepper, pepper and cucumber as if they had just come out of the garden, homemade vegetable pie, braised pork loukumi and juicy and perfectly cooked ribs.
