Priori - VOLTERRA

Always visit this bar fifth visit go every year. Welcoming staff good choice of drinks and complimentary snacks always high quality.

While visiting the beautiful city of Volterra we decided to stop and enjoy a cappuccino and pastry. This restaurant is situated on the corner of the Piazza dei priori. It's warm cozy inside and they offer a variety of Italian pastries and scones. The prices were very reasonable and the coffee and pastries were enjoyable.

14 slices of cold cuts 15 euros. 1 small poor beer 5 euros. 1/2 liter of water 2 euros. If you don't ask for the receipt, they don't provide it to avoid to pay taxes! Thieves!

Conveniently located in Piazza dei Priori, which locals consider the center of town, Bar Priori offers outdoor seating and good, casual food and drinks. . . and great people watching. We stopped for a late afternoon quick bite and were not disappointed. My wife had a Tomato Bruschetta that was as attractive as it was tasty (see photo). My Ham and Cheese Stromboli, on the other hand, was kinda boring (photo). Nothing really wrong with it just bland. So, I helped her finish off the Bruschetta. It went nicely with a glass of Chianti. Our server was fast and friendly. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the location 8 euro for one sandwich and 7 for the other and 5 euro for the glass of wine.

Bar centralissimo, molto affollato, servizio abbastanza veloce... È sicuramente il locale più comodo anche grazie all'ampio dehor...
