Last reviewed this place about a year ago. On a recent extended visit to the area I went three more times as the restaurant is just a little walk away from the hotel you were staying. 1- Zuppa di cozze to take out. A mistake. The cozze were miniscule and over cooked. Gathered later that the more you keep cozze in hot boiling water the smaller and chewier they become. So first experience no good. 2- Pizza and linguine alle vongole sitting down, Very good. excellent pizza and the vongole were done just right. So, second experience much better. 3- Spaghetti alle cozze, friarielli, and saltimbocca. Very good, cozze the right size and right cooking texture. So, third experience excellent. Ambiance just local, nothing fancy and staff very polite. Bottom line, I'll continue coming here on my visits to the area.
The customer service was magnificent! They were very accommodating and very patient with our lack of Italian. The pizza was sooooo good! The price was awesome. Ariah and I had the Margheria Pizza (cheese and sauce) for 3.50euro. DON'T FORGET YOU PAY FOR SITTING AT THE TABLE. We forgot and paid 6euro for it. No worries, it still only cost us 26euro total. We went back next night and got pasta (rotisserie chicken) and tomatoes for me. We watched as they made the pizza...it was a work of art. Photo's to come.
