Uncle Tony's - Vista

I was hesitant to write a less than favorable review, however I need to be honest and this was my experience. In a nutshell, The food was OK for a shopping mall eatery. However, the pricing was like I was dining at an ocean view restaurant in Delmar. $24 for a dish of over cooked vegetables and watery sauce is insulting. Also the service, even though friendly was not attentive. She forgot our bread, didn’t offer fresh Parmesan and was distracted most of the time watching TV. My suggestion would be either to lower the prices or raise the quality. My vote is on both issues.

Love this place! Dinner for 4 tonight, great food, great drinks, fabulous atmosphere! It's that local hidden gem everyone wishes they had. Real Italian food and wine here in CA. Don't be in a hurry, be ready to enjoy an evening wirh family or friends.

Family owned and operated in every sense of the term. Traditional Sicilian family recipes. My go to spot for authentic Italian food. Full bar and fun, lively atmosphere. It sits in a strip mall so don't judge it by its location.

Christmas Eve 2031 I had the Carpaccio appetizer and it was without exception, the very best I have ever been served. And my Osso Buco main entree was delicious. My wife had spaghetti with Vodka sauce. As if that wasn't enough, when departing we were gifted an exquisite 13 year old Italian wine.
