Kokage Ramen And Sushi - Vista

My wife and I get their insanely good chicken bowl at least once a week for the past 2 years. Awesome place open

It's a small mom and pop Japanese restaurant with limited seating. It definitely shows with the bowl of ramen I ordered but somehow the karaage (fried chicken) punched way above its weight it surprised me. The fried shrimp tempura however, is back to homemade quality. Personally I had expected more for the ramen, but as a cozy place for happy hour and some food on the side it's perfect.

My husband and I had a quiet date night here. It was clean, and we were able to eat outside, which was nice being so hot out. The food was delicious and very filling. Definitely will come back.

This place was GROSS, shouldn’t even be called sushi. Will never order/eat/or even look in this place’s direction again!! Just nasty balls of mush. It’s ridiculous. The only thing I tried was the abre la boca mucho. But I wish I hadn’t.

This ramen spot has quickly become a staple for me as its close to my gym. The food is great! Portions are generous. Fair amount of vegetarian options. Staff is professional and welcoming!
