Frogy's Donuts Bakery - Vista

There’s nothing like a freshly-baked cinnamon roll, bear claw, or warm donut to fill an empty stomach before or after a long day on your feet. Frogy’s Donuts Bakery is located on East Vista Way in Vista and features a large selection of baked goods made on-site daily. Previous diners have appreciated that their donuts weren’t too sweet or dripping with oil, and that they were still warm when they ate them. Frogy’s is a cash-only business. You’ll need to make sure you have a few bucks on-hand before showing up, because there aren’t any ATMs in the immediate vicinity.

I see people leaving reviews complaining about it being cash only. Lots of donut shops are cash only. Bring cash next time. The owners have been here for over 35 years...you don’t last that long if the donuts aren’t worth it. Someone else complained the owner was rude. It makes me wonder what you did to prompt that. These are the nicest people in town and I would find it highly unlikely that Sharon was rude to anyone without reason. Support local businesses!

The owners Jack Sharon have been friends and owners of Frogy's Donuts for 35+ years. This is a small, friendly, local shop where everybody knows your name. I took my children there when they were little, my grandkids there when they were little and my great grandchildren now that they are little. One day there were 4 generations there at the same time. Their maple bars are my favorite. I don't even have to order, Sharon has one on the counter with a cup of great coffee as I walk in the door. Oh, I know donuts, I am a former San Diego PD and San Diego Sheriff Deputy.
