While the wait staff is doing a good job, I find it off-putting that they constantly have new employees training in front of customers. It's overwhelming to have two people watching over you while you place your order, and it feels inauthentic. This seems to happen almost every time, and it's unnecessary. Instead of constantly training in front of customers, they should focus on hiring the right people and trusting them to do their job. Customers dine out to escape corporate culture, not to be bombarded with it. While the staff is nice and attentive, the constant supervision is excessive and gives off a corporate vibe. This is not something I have experienced at other Olive Gardens in the state, and I would prefer if they stopped this practice. Customers would be happier with just the waiter's attention, without the added pressure of being watched by their superiors.
The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. We ordered the shrimp scampi and cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and both dishes were perfect. The salad and breadsticks are a standout offering that keeps us coming back. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently.
My son and I visited Olive Garden on a Friday afternoon, arriving just before the dinner rush. It was my son's first time there, and I wanted to treat him to the all-you-can-eat soup and salad. Our waitress brought us a fresh salad and warm breadsticks to start. As we finished the salad, she asked us to choose between the Chicken Gnocchi soup and Minestrone. We also requested another salad bowl to complete our meal. While the salad was delicious, there were some spices in both soups that I didn't particularly enjoy. Despite this, I had a positive experience overall that afternoon. The service was excellent, and the price was reasonable to slightly high ($38 including tips). I would definitely return, perhaps opting for lunch between 11:00 and 3:00 for the all-you-can-eat soup and salad at the lower price of $9.99, rather than the dinner price of $12.99.
I love this place. A super nice young lady working there asked me how I was doing. I think she was the manager there, named Mariah. Way super nice and asked how my day was going. Meal was so good. They made the baked ziti with meat sauce like it shouldbe made. Always a line. Food was delicious and I liked all the staff I talked too. Everyone was happy and helpful.
I wasn't a huge fan of Olive Garden at first, but after being served by Genesis last week, it has become one of my favorite restaurants. Genesis was exceptional, attentive, professional, and friendly. My family and I will definitely be going back more often. Genesis truly made a difference in the retention and satisfaction of their customers. Amazing work, Genesis. Thank you for always being so friendly and helpful.
