Del Prado - Visalia

Walked into this place hoping to have a quick dinner since we had a movie in an hour. We were greeted by the sweetest waitress and she sat us immediately. She was very attentive and made sure we didn't wait long for drinks and to order. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I love that they have a small menu to choose from because they really put love into their dishes. Home made chips AND home made corn tortillas too! I got the Birria plate and my husband got the chili rellenos and demolished them. It was surprisingly not busy cuz it definitely should have been. They even had karaoke which Im normally not a big fan but they did it tastefully and I can't wait to go back. Check this little gem of a place out!

I Do not recommend this place. Food is brought out cold, unseasoned and half of the menu items are unavailable.

I spoke with the owner and had a pleasant experience and wonderful food, I can't say enough. I will eat there again, soon. ?

Handmade tortilla chips with a nice spicy sauce. Jalapeño poppers are my favorite go to appetizer here by far the best I’ve had. They don’t leave a lot of oil on your fingertips at all which is usually what you want to look out for with foods like the poppers. Another thing you want to look out for is a drip when biting into it. Literally these have neither, enjoyable ! Nice and hot center so be careful! (I dipped mine in their salsa and fell in love) The enchiladas de pollo (chicken enchiladas) are made from scratch from the tortilla all the way to the sauce. The sauce taste a little bit too much like tomato for my liking I’m used to more spice but it doesn’t drop their value. The chicken inside is great, not salty at all. Food is definitely reasonable priced guys ?. The service could have been a bit better they were busy wrapping up and didn’t really pay much attention to customers. Such as do you need more drinks, providing proper amount of silverware, providing napkins, rare was the occasion that she asked how we were. Sweet lady 100% but could have dedicated a bit more of her attention to the customers seated. Would definitely still come back.

Food was delicious! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town for Mexican food!
