Tapped Gastropub - Virginia Beach

Great food and good prices. Creative $7 lunch specials that are way better than the typical burger/sandwich options elsewhere. Check them out on Facebook. Large draft and bottle beer selection too. Service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Tapped. We eat there regularly.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. When I walked in I wasn't so sure what type of place it would be, but the food is absolutely amazing and you quickly forget the less than impressive interior. We had the lobster dip and fried cheese appetizers and they were both very tasty. But the main courses were the stars of the show! Per the recommendation of our waitress we had the cajun rub ribeye entree and the blackened scallops entree with our side choices of risotto, grits, the biggest asparagus we've ever seen and the carrots. The steak was huge and we could have split it between two of us, but that allowed us to share with our husbands. I wish we had room for dessert but between all of this and a bottle of wine we were done. We will definitely be back as it was definitely with the drive!

This was honestly one of the best atmospheres I have seen in a long time. I loved the food, the entertainment (Dustin Furlow), and most of all our service. Let me say that I have been a server/wait staff for over 20 years. Marie literally made this one of my favorite evenings of all time. At my restaurant, all the girls now say 'I 'm going to be Marie this evening ' in reference to being the nicest we can be throughout our shift. I can 't say a single negative thing about Tapped. I will be back and I strongly suggest giving it a try. Make sure to ask for Marie! (and I honestly don 't know her, aside from the night we had her as a server)

Was in Va Beach this weekend visiting our kids with my wife. After brunch at our usual Citrus we headed to the new outlet center. Our son went his own way after and the girls stopped at Emersons for a slow burn form to take here. My daughter lives close and has been here 5-6 times and recommended. So she and my wife dropped me off to watch the NC State/Clemson in the smoking area, which they were happy to accommodate. Has a few different IPA's, which all were tasty. Had the bourbon glazed steak bites, which were cooked perfectly. The girls showed and we had the chicken n' waffle sliders with a maple sauce that was ridiculous and 3 types of fried cheeses. Everything was above top notch. This place will be a regular stop when I visit. Then I found out it was opened by a high school classmate, Dave Alexander. Your place is really cool!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Ordered their burger and it was so fresh. I could tell it was never frozen. My boyfriend had the lamb burger and he loved it. A large beer selection. Free entertainment every Saturday night! Staff was very friendly. An overall great place!
