Lucky Oyster - Virginia Beach

The staff is always friendly, and the food never disappoints. My husband and I tried the fried seafood platter, which was enormous. My favorite items were the scallops, but everything was delicious. The salad was huge, crisp, and fresh. We will definitely be returning!

I and my family have been regular customers here for more than 6 years and it is such a disappointment that has gone to the quality and quantity of food. Despite the cost increase, they still have to say that it is quite the entire menu. I have published the image of them, showing the only menu items that are affected. I ordered my usual Neptun recorder, which is $32. The record was the equivalent of a record at Captain D's. It had the usual large piece of fish, two small **** shrimps, 3 small scallops, 3 small oysters rockefeller and a small crab cake that could hardly be a part. My side was the garlic steak frits and they were fried deep in old oil. Half of the ordered foods were cold as the mac n cheese, pommes and shrimps. We were hungry to take care of it. Our waitress Dawn was great and immediately offered another side and did what she could, but as the waitress performs the records, why she still did. Why would you bring food to a table if you didn't eat it yourself? Besides, the raw oysters were great as usual. Just be fair from paying the full price for a little food and not as it was earlier. Although she told the manager, she still defended the small parts of ALWAYS. I told her the least she could do is to notify everyone and list more than the small list they have because it is not accurate and it is misleading. You're better off, Captain George pays a little more for better quality and quantity of food.

FLAWLESS. The atmosphere is incredible. The waiting staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is phenomenal. This place is a jewel in Virginia Beach. If you've never been here, you've disappeared.

This was my first time at Lucky Oyster and it won't be my last! Especially with the wonderful service of Angie! Excellent? Because there are so many things I want to try to make an appetizer smorgasbord. 1. the Oysters Rockefeller 8 large, delicious Eastern Shore Oysters with spinach, crispy bacon and melted cheese! 2. Fresh oysters, hand-baked and slightly fried to order this appetizer is not on the menu, but still available when you ask beautiful..LOL!! 3. the Blackened Tuna Bites freshly caught tuna slightly damped and served with our own Lucky?s bistro sauce. 4th the Eastern Shore Clams a full dozen Middle Neck shells our have been damped but you can get them on the half shell. Everything was delicious and the fried oysters, extraordinary! You also have a number of dips sauces. I'm looking forward to a return visit for the Neptune? Feast Broiled Crab Stuffed Shrimp, broiled Scallops, Oysters Rockafeller and fresh fish finished with a Bay Shrimp Scampi sauce!!!!

During my 11-day vacation in Virginia Beach, I tried many restaurants, and without a doubt, this was one of the best! The food was incredibly delicious, the staff was friendly, and the service was remarkably fast, even though it was busy. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and the location, and the portion sizes were generous. There was a bit of a wait at 6 PM on Friday, but it wasn't too long. It was absolutely worth it! I couldn't resist snapping a photo of the chocolate lava cake—amazing! I left completely satisfied, full, and with some tasty leftovers.
