Giovanni's Pizza - Virginia Beach

This restaurant has so much potential. It has lots of space with genuine Italian food and lots of flavor. The wall murals were beautiful!!! So sad to see what I believe was an iconic restuarant years gone by. Service, although was with a genuine heart, had big misses. Sorry; but true. The whole upstairs I'm sure had lots of history but unused. It needs a good revamping, better management advertising.

My family and I have been here every year for the better part of a decade and I am very satisfied with my experience. We always get the pizza while we're here and it is phenomenal. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is one that invites family and friends and has me coming back every year. I recommend the greek salad and the Godmother pizza. We will definitely continue to come back here for years to come.

Hopped in here during our brief visit to VA Beach, in late August, for lunch. We both had philly cheesesteaks and fries. All was very fresh, tasty and delicious. The sub bread was particularly good, though the subs were a bit small.
