The food was excellent and the service very friendly and attentive. The dessert and cocktails were good, but too sweet with the exception of the smoked old fashioned (regular, not brunch) which was delicious. Cocktails are on the expensive side but beautifully presented. All in all, I loved the atmosphere and the food, and will definitely go back.
I was expecting a lot from this restaurant from all the good reviews I have seen. Unfortunately this restaurant is not it. My service was subpar and my food was absolutely terrible. I had to get my waiter attention for us to be able to order any food after our drinks. The food took a while to receive. I ordered the beef Wellington and my wife ordered the duck. My entire plate was raw from the beef to the carrots on my plate. Lacked seasoning everywhere I took 2 bites as was done. For $55 I was at least expecting my food to be some what edible. Also the plating was cute but not functional at all. My wife's duck was raw as well her risotto was ok but not nothing to brag about. My drink were underwhelming and the sitting arrangements were oddly placed and too close together waiters were constantly bumping in to my while I was sitting down. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Went for a birthday dinner. Live musician was so load we couldn't talk. Food was unique but not great. We had the burger, the meat was dry and the bun was soggy. Very weird. The Marsala dish was under sauced and not well seasoned. The crab cakes were delicious and well paired. The drinks were fantastic. The waiter was AMAZING. He made the whole night better and was so funny as well as attentive. I wish them luck with branching out on the dinner menu.
The restaurant is beautifully put together. You can tell it was designed with attention to detail, right down to the cocktail glasses. Our server Matthew was five stars all the way. He made the experience! The food was very good. Our table skipped apps this time and went straight to entrees, Smash Burgers and the Veggie Coriander Fettuccine Tiki Masala. The burgers were not burgers. They are some heightened, out of body burger experience. It's a must try. The Tiki Masala was reported to me to be “okay” but nothing overly amazing. We did order cocktails as well, The Royal Bird, Smoked Brekky Old Fashioned, Mint Mojito and the Espresso Martini. All were extremely well executed! They had live music which was very enjoyable. The entertainer was very good and we appreciated it very much but as the evening went on the music got too loud and we just struggled to be able to maintain conversation and had to leave. Which was unfortunate because we loved the drinks and probably would have had more! I also need to mention, we ordered the Bananas Foster dessert and it was phenomenal!!! Over all, we will definitely be back and we do recommend you visit!
