I come here, order 3 donuts, 1 of which is plain and I pull around to the window were I sit for 12-15 minutes without being acknowledged, this is not an exaggeration.I’m the only person in the drive thru. Perhaps they are super slammed inside, but they did not appear to be. Finally a woman comes to the window “that will be $8.30” .I ask if the donuts are even ready and she says no because they had to make more of their mix.Waiting in line is not a big deal, but waiting in line with a crying baby thinking it will only be a couple of minutes is a whole other issue. It’s frustrating no one thought to say when I ordered “just so you know sir we are out of our mix and it will take about 10 minutes to make, is that okay”?Or even a “hey, just so you know we are making the mix, I don’t want you to think I’m ignoring you”.I worked for 10 years in the restaurant industry, some of that fast food, so I’m pretty gracious. I just couldn’t believe the level of obliviousness. Horrible customer service and zero understanding as to why I would be frustrated. My wife called because of how irritating it was and the person who picked up said “I’ll say something to someone higher up, thanks”.What a joke, I go to duck donuts probably twice a year so it’s not the end of the world, but don’t ignore someone at the window, acknowledge them, let them know what’s up and say “we will be with you in a minute” it made me enraged the donuts were not even ready after 12-15 minutes just sitting at the window (looked at my clock).
When I pulled up to pick up my online order the open sign was not turned on. This was at 530 on a Saturday (they close at 7). First I attempted to go through the drive through but after 2 minutes of not being helped I went to the pickup window, no one was there. As I pulled into a space I saw ppl inside, still looked completely closed. Walked in and asked about the drive through and pickup window with no one being there and they said their headset died. Cool no problem but you should put a Thank you! Kimberly Duarte Realtor Iron Valley Real Estate HR up at the drive through. They just looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. (3 to 4 ppl not doing a thing inside). What a waste of the business owners money.
If you haven 't tried Duck Donuts, you should. They may not fit YOUR normal office treat routine, but it 's definitely worth treating yourself to one every once and a while. These donuts are high quality and delicious. All if that being said, they 100% do fit MY routine and they have become my staple for our office treats. For what it 's worth, we have a huge office! Now, if someone else brings the donuts and they 're from one of the other places , I 'm certainly not going to complain. Who doesn 't love free donuts? However, if I 'm the one bringing the donuts, they 're guaranteed to be from Duck Donuts. Seriously, treat yourself and your office.P.S I have no connection or affiliation to Duck Donuts.
I would give this restaurant a zero rating if I could. There are never any customers waiting in the drive-thru, yet you will still wait at least 5 minutes wondering if they are open. Once you finally place your order, it takes about 10 minutes to receive your donuts. I have been to other locations where service runs more smoothly. I would not recommend this location at all. Avoid going there on your way to work, as you will end up being late.
