Barclay Tower Suites - Virginia Beach

This was our second visit. I had shattered my leg and the ADA room was OUTSTANDING !! It was totally configured for a wheelchair, expect the shower which needed to be stepped into. There was grab bars everywhere. The building only has 1 bedroom units. You can go out onto the porch and watch the people walk on the boardwalk. The boardwalk is concrete, so it's wonderful for those of us unsteady on our feet. The 1st time we were on a high floor with a beautiful view of the Ocean.

We wouldn't have asked for a more comfortable, more beautiful place. We have a balcony with sea view. The suite is great. Our suite features a bedroom TV and kitchen/living area. The rooms are all very clean. Barclay is in a great location. It is close to everything you need, such as food, clothing, snacks, etc. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The room was huge. It had a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and a balcony to enjoy the wonderful bed. Our room also had a kitchen so we could cook if we wanted what is great for budget trips. Our room was clean and there was enough room for the three of us to move around. Breakfast was ok, the pancakes are the highlight of it. Great room for the price.

This is our 2nd year in a row staying here. We like it because the rooms are clean, and they are not as expensive. I don't care that they are a little dated. If you want your room cleaned during your stay, then you just need to request it. The continental breakfast is good, don't expect it to be anything elaborate, I'm just glad they offer it so I do not have to buy breakfast. I've enjoyed the oceanfront hot tub and my son loves the pool. It is wonderful that every room is spacious, oceanfront and the king bed is comfortable. The staff had been very friendly as well. We had a scammer call our room trying to tell us that he was with guest services wanted our credit card info, that is not the hotels fault however I hope no one falls for this scam.

Went there for a sister trip and the location was perfect for us. We aren’t big partiers and we came for food and the beach! The location was perfect because the beach wasn’t super busy like it was near or north of the pier. Their breakfast was great.. eggs, sausage, English muffins, pancakes, n good coffee! All the staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was open, clean, n a great view of the beach. We even got to see dolphins on our first night. I’d come back here again or recommend it to anyone
