What the hell! We are no longer here for so many reasons. We just came because it is now one of the rare places you can eat, sitting in the beautiful downtown Virginia, during those times. It was amazing. The dark interior did not stop us from finding a few meals to win. We had great Mexican food, the house made beans and rice. Salsa was excellent. Very tasteful with a touch of sweetness. If you're not here, you know it's changed for the better. The food I had was the Taco/Relleno combo. What a winner! Great taste, good ingredients and generous portions. It was about $10 a plate. Liquor is available.

Yummmm!!! I ordered the combo enchiladas. They came with rice and beans. The entree was tasty and flavorful. It was also the perfect temperature. The enchiladas were generously stuffed with shredded chicken, beef and cheese and then smothered in enchilada sauce.

Melissa was a great waitress at the New Year's Eve. My husband ordered a combination plate and I had the chicken chap. Since the plate is hot and sizzling, the chicken dries quickly, but everything else was delicious. They give you so much stuff that I could only eat half. Forget to take a picture so that this picture is after I was eaten! We had an unbelievable guest next to us who told their food companions loudly (that she apparently just met) that she ordered Steak because she doesn't like Mexican food! Maybe not in a Mexican restaurant? Pretty rude! We will love the decoration and atmosphere again.
