Manoir de la Pommeraie - Vire Normandie

Lovely long Christmas day lunch, started at 1pm and finished around 5pm! Many courses of great food and wine to compliment each. Would highly recommend for a relaxing Christmas day with great food in lovely surroundings.

My husband and I dined here and ate a fabulous three course meal. This is real haute cuisine and fine dining. The portions are not enormous but the number of courses, the quality of the food and the sublime flavours all compensate to make it...a memorable experience. The service was very good and the food expertly prepared. With wine, our bill for two was €100.00. I would highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to take your time, savour and enjoy.

We came here for lunch as a birthday treat for me. Although we had two young children and a baby, we were warmly received. The meal was perfect in every way and our 7 and 9 year old boys rose to the occasion of eating...a very high class meal, exquisitely presented. We stayed for four hours and were told not to feel we had to rush! After our meal, the charming owner chef, came out to talk to us and to give us some tips of places to visit for the rest of our holiday. Thank you very much for such a lovely day.

We have heard very good things about this restaurant of our family that are by vire. we visited our 10-year anniversary and had the 4-course-terroir menu. I'm peskatarian, for which you had no problem at all. the service of...the beginning was very friendly and informatiw when we had any questions. every cure was absolutely delicious. I especially loved my “Rouget” starter, my man loved his slowly boiled pig. really tasty, and the wee to accompany everyone amazingly. the cheeseboard was interesting with all the species coming from the local area, we visit the farm at landelles, where our camembert came from tonight. we will definitely visit again, but do not leave it for 10 years!

I visited this restaurant with friends for birthday dinner. I couldn't mistake it, eating was excellent, service was very friendly and professional, for eating that we had, I don't think it was too expensive. all I've got.
