My husband and I ate here for the first time, and it will not be the last! This very bright and cheery restaurant in downtown Vineland, NJ has delicious food and it is BYOB, although you can buy wine by the bottle. We enjoyed the Build Your Own Combo which gave us the opportunity to have mini entrees of six different menu items. Excellent prices too!
UPDATE: Food is still very good. However, we got the guacamole today, and they did a smaller portion and still charges $12.00 not worth it. The guacamole is probably for one person. Charged three dollars for a side of sour cream (1 tbsp) And just be aware that they add gratuity for any bill that is over $50. I still would recommend this place, however, a person going into it should understand the little changes that they made. ——————————————————————— They have really good guacamole and shrimp tacos. The staff is awesome. Their portions are big. 100% recommend.
Service is very slow. We were one of two tables on a weekday and it took them 40 plus minutes to bring out our food. My wife ordered the street corn, that came out cold. Sent it back for another, and it took forever to come out. Corn tortilla came out hot, but extremely soggy. The food was not worth the wait.
Finally swung by for dinner tonight and I think it's now our favorite Mexican restaurant. Super nice place with a ton of stuff to pick from off the menu. Saw some stuff I'd never seen on a Mexican restaurant menu. I had the Tlayuda Oaxaquena, which was a huge tortilla stuffed with lettuce, tomato, avacado, beans, peppers onions and steak. It seemed like the tortilla was lightly fried, and boy was it super good and HUGE!. My wife's cheese quesadilla was probaly the thickest one we've seen and was really good. Jessica was our server and she was friendly, didn't auction off the food and checked back with us. The prices are not bad at all for what you get, and now there's no need to drive to Hammonton for a good Mexican meal.
