Al Saraceno - Vinchio

A cracking restaurant that has great views of Mount Etna. We shared a fried seafood starter which was excellent (so fresh). My wife had the pasta with pistachio pesto and cream which she declared delicious. I had a pizza, which I’ve got to say was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Reasonably priced with friendly staff! We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked again! This time we’ve been promised a front row table to soak up the sunset view.

We had such a lovely time this evening with wonderful food and the staff were brilliant for squeezing us in at the last minute, we cannot thank them enough for a brilliant evening

Great food from the family-run restaurent al saranceno. great, unfortunately soon to return to norway. will be visited next time in vinchio

They had recommended this place, we wanted to eat typical, good, abundant and well kept. expectations were not betrayed. the manager invited us to eat mixed appetizers. and was the apotheosis of quality and quantity. good also the first (gnocchetti in various local opportunit well supplied winery and quality. homemade cakes. adequate price (not expensive).

A lovely fresh Italian dinner with amazing views of the coast and Mt Edna. Can’t beat the view and ambiance. Dinner was delicious. There is an old church next to the restaurant with great views for family pictures. feeling adventurous? you can take the 300+ stairs back down to the town if you want to walk dinner off.
