Santa Lucia - Ville-di-Pietrabugno

We ordered takeout from Santa Lucia after a long day of touring around downtown Bastia and the surrounding areas. I had a margarita pizza. It was a nice size, not suitable for more than two people to share though. The pizza had a great flavor and the crust had a nice crunch to it. The cheese used on the pizza was also high quality. Overall a solid meal.

We came here at 18.00 o'clock (the opening time was written from 17.00 o'clock). The waiter came out on the terrace and whispered something to us (we were siting 15 meters away so we could not hear him). I apologized for not understading and we thought he would repeat what he said in french but he just stood there with his mouth half open. We then just stood up and left cause it was pointless to try and talk to him because we could not get another word from him.

Evening meal during a one night stay in the Thalassa hotel, in Pietranera. The restaurant was easily reached on foot as parking at the hotel was at a premium. Good service, we were quickly seated but had a short wait before our order was taken. Excellent pizza and the €7.50 pitcher of wine was very enjoyable. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit if your visiting the area.

Really good local restaurant in pietranero. Both the pizza and pasta we had were really tasty and there was a great choice of wine. Was a busy little place but the excellent staff kept on top of things and we were never kept waiting. A little gem.
