Taka Sushi Japanese

Taka Sushi was suggested by my roommate's sister, and it's truly a hidden gem with simple decor in Westbury. My daughter ordered the Chicken Tatsutaage and absolutely loved it; it was juicy with a crispy layer. We highly recommend their Chirashi bowl, which was fresh, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. Our favorite dish was the grilled eel—flavorful and delightful. Service was excellent for dine-in.

If my husband and I could give Taka Sushi ten stars, we definitely would! Food: 5 stars, Service: 5 stars, Atmosphere: 5 stars.

I had a fantastic dining experience! The food was excellent and the service was efficient, allowing us to be in and out quickly. We dined in for dinner and the cost per person was around $30 to $50. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a perfect 5 out of 5!

Been here 4 or 5 times now and I had thought i found sushi mecca for Long Island since it is run by an actual Japanese chef and their fish seemed fresh and well prepared. However this last time has caused me to change my mind and I write this reluctantly bc I dont want to negatively impact a business that tries...so hopefully if they read this, they will try to improve. But after my last visit, I could barely make it home due to urgent and violent diarrhea. I had ordered seaweed salad and mainly salmon and tuna sashimi with some eel and ikura as well. Also had their soup and the flan dessert which Im addicted to. Howver 20% likelihood of diarrhea is still too dangerous for me. Wont return for awhile.
