Requested cheese with the meal, never received it nor did anyone check to see if we had everything or needed anything. Would have been understandable if they were busy, but there were many empty tables. It was also very cold in the restaurant. The bathroom lacked toilet paper. Maybe they should hire more staff or perhaps a busboy. I would not return to this restaurant nor recommend it.
My husband has made this restaurant his Friday night stop every week. Their Clams Casino are large and moist. The generous portion of Lasagna is filled with lots of meat and cheese. The Eggplant Rollitini is enough for two to split. This is not a fancy restaurant, but the food is good and well priced.
On October 8, 2005 our Family, “The Hillman Family , drove from Newburgh, New York to Westbury, New York to see Englebert Humpderdinck at the Westbury Music Fair. It was a very rainy day with major down pours. My father ;Joe ; is 100% disabled in a wheelchair, so we rented a wheelchair accessible van, plus had to order Oxygen for his health care. Before the concert, we wanted all of us to go out to dinner. We needed to find a wheelchair accessible restaurant. We did, thank god, for ANGELINO 'S. When we arrived, we were welcomed like it was our own home. Angelino 's was packed and no more seats, so the waitress brought us into the Lounge. Alex, the bartender was wonderful... I said to him “We are going to see Englebert Humperdinck @Westbury Music Fair and he said to me, I believe that the concert was cancelled, and it was. My father was so disappointed. We made the best of the situation and Alex, the bartender was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves, everything was so beautiful. We laughed, drank, sang, and had a wonderful dinner. Needless to say this was our last time together as a ;Family ;. My father Joseph Hillman Sr. passed away on October 18, 2005. We all want to thank you for a most memorable evening at Angelino 's. Enjoy the Holidays, God Bless you all.
My family took me to Angelino's to celebrate my 40th birthday (they claim it's the fifth time, haha). The staff was outstanding—prompt and polite. What truly made me happy was that even though the dining room was packed on a Saturday night, I felt like I was the only customer. My water was continuously refilled, and fresh garlic bread was delivered when needed. I also received a complimentary cheesecake and coffee as a little birthday treat from the restaurant. I absolutely adore the hostess; I believe her name is Alex. Thank you for a wonderful evening! I will definitely be back!
A few nights ago, we dined here with friends and had a disappointing experience. The waiter appeared unfamiliar with the menu, struggling to answer even the simplest questions, such as whether the veal was served over pasta, and he made no effort to find out. When our food arrived, the veal parm was overcooked to the point of being charred. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo was lacking, containing only three shrimp, and the sauce, which I typically enjoy spicy, was so hot it was nearly inedible. The tomato and mozzarella salad featured unripe, green tomatoes, and the mozzarella lacked any flavor. We go out to eat several times a week, and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review. I would recommend steering clear of this restaurant!
