I absolutely love it! I live in Lyons/Newark and often travel to Phelps because no other restaurant in Newark or Lyons compares to the Blue Ribbon. I'm quite a picky eater, but I really enjoy the flavors of the meals there. I used to dine at Cross Park Canal View in Newark, but there is a significant difference, believe me.

A popular spot for breakfast. Friendly, courteous, staff. Good food in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely sensational experience here a few days back. Unexpectedly, they had ribs and homemade BBQ sauce and they were some of the best I've ever had. I couldn't believe it! Our server, Emily, was easily one of the best overall servers that I have ever had. Her attention to our table and the rest of the tables in the restaurant was immeasurable. Superbly impressed with the entire place from the food to the staff, the decor, and just the whole experience overall. I will absolutely be back.

I’m thrilled to be back in town and see that Blue Ribbon is open! They offer dine-in service and even have a beautiful outdoor seating area. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the sunny weather and soak up the last few days of summer before it gets too cold. I picked up a variety of their delicious cookies but made sure to leave some for the next guests. Don’t miss out on the raisin French toast—you won’t be disappointed!
