The Boathouse - Village of Ossining

The restaurant offers stunning views of the river, especially from the boat bar situated right at the water's edge. While dining indoors, we enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad and fish and chips, but the Angry Val pasta dish was disappointing. It seemed like the seafood in all dishes was overcooked and lacked flavor. Despite this, our overall experience was enjoyable and we plan to return, though we will avoid ordering the Angry Val dish again.

This restaurant is a great spot to watch the sunset over the Hudson River. The view is amazing. They offer a food truck with a selection of standard menu items for outdoor tables by the riverside. The food is better than average. The only downside is that they had run out of peel and eat shrimp, which was the main reason for my visit. Because of this, I have given it four stars.

Good food. In the area for a visit and found this restaurant on Google maps. Without reservation, space could be taken. Kellner was polite and knowledgeable. We ordered Lobster Roll and Shrimp Luciano. Both were delicious. If we're ever back in the area, we'll go back.

Good food, excellent views. We thought of a late Sunday dinner and were surprised that all the outside seats were reserved at 4 p.m. Inside it was cool, but nice. The waiting staff is very young and well trained. The Fried Calamari appetizer was very tasty and delicate with a very light dough. My wife had Soft Shell Crabs, who were delicious, I had a Clam Po Boy who was not as good as the Crabs, but still very good and came with the same Cajun Mayo the Fried Calamari came along. All in all a very nice place for a meal, but next time we call an outside table ahead. The view is on the Hudson.
