I then suggested boiled eggs, but again she looked puzzled. When my boyfriend clarified "hard-boiled eggs," she still seemed unsure and went back to the kitchen for another inquiry, only to come back and say no yet again. Frustrated, I decided to forgo any order. My boyfriend then placed his breakfast order, despite having suggested that we leave since he is diabetic and needed to eat something. The waitress shot me a glance and then asked if I wanted a piece of toast, which I declined, saying I would just have tea and would be heading to Dunkin’ Donuts. She then said she would check on some fresh fruit for me, to which I agreed. However, she never returned with the fruit, nor did she speak to me again while serving my boyfriend. She did mention that she didn’t want to keep going back to the kitchen with questions, claiming she didn’t want to be a bother. But honestly, her lack of knowledge about the menu was the real bother. I had to specifically ask if they could avoid cooking items in butter, to which she responded that they just put things on the griddle. I said that was fine, but it shouldn’t have to be cooked in butter. Yet, she was still hesitant to ask for clarification, fearing it would be an inconvenience. In the end, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. As a restaurant reviewer, I have to say, you've definitely failed in your service.

On a positive note, we enjoyed our meals, which included a generously sized burger platter and a good portion of fried shrimp. While some items were a bit lackluster (like the canned carrots as a vegetable or some wilted lettuce in the salad), the overall dining experience was pleasant. The food was enjoyable, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
