The Pasta a la rueda it is amazing! You have to try. It is served fatucine on a large garnet Padano cheese, then it is mixed with the cheese and then served in your plate. the taste is wow!

A big mistake to go here. The mushroom risotto was drowned in an unpleasantly strong tasting tomato sauce and was almost unusable the Veggie Burger lacked taste. The glass red wine requested came in a small screw bottle and was unpleasant. Also a bad ambience compared to other places in the city felt very commercial.

We had dinner at Casa San Pedro and it was very nice, the pastas were very delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. A very good dining option near the main square.

We understand it was a busy afternoon. But the service was less than efficient. For starters warm beers and a very small appetizer after that we had to ask twice to two different waiters to have our orders taken. After waiting 45 minutes we found out that none of the waiters had taken our order. They were going to begin the process as soon as they realized that we were about to go. Terrible service ever!

Although we had a good meal, we found this restaurant overrated. The pasta was good but nothing special and the price quite high for what you get. Conclusion: okay but certainly not the best in villa de Leyva.
