Taberna De São Pedro

Diverse volte a Porto, sempre con il mio partner. Sospeso su un filo sottile tra il fascino dei trionfi storici della città e la vivace modernità. Afurada un'isola di identità, Taberna Sao Pedro un atterraggio sicuro. Niente fronzoli inutili, la semplice accoglienza di un villaggio di pescatori.

Quelle charmante taverne au coeur d'un village de pêcheurs qui garde tout son charme. On a été servis par un très gentil serveur. Je dîne avec la morue grillée au barbecue... un pur délice. Un vin blanc du Douro avec des pâtes de morue et des poulpes avec une sauce aux herbes vertes. Merci beaucoup pour ce grand dîner. Petit plat sur les desserts ... mais qui ne retire rien du reste du dîner.

This restaurant was recommended by both our tour guide and a local friend. We had the baby squid barbecued, which were really very good. The large king prawns , also BBQ"d were full of flavour and well cooked. So, it's definitely a place I'd come back to. My critism would be that no napkins are on the tables, so we tore a piece of our paper table cloth off to improvise. The potatoes for the main dish arrived on our table before we'd finished our starters. These were sent back to be made hot, but came back just warm and only half the amount first served. To be honest, I would give this restaurant another chance. It has that feeling of a good place to eat, but tonight, I think we were a bit unlucky and sat right at the end of the seating area. Give it a try and let's hope you have a great dining experience.
