We arrived in a cold rainy day, so BBQ was the perfect choice. Our table was taken care by Nelson and Angelo who were very observant and thoughtful keeping track of what we liked most. I’m really need to recognize Angelo service and effort. There is a real attention and care in the way he do the service and the way he relate with the customers. I hope he can read this comment and most of all, his manager.

My last visit dates back a year or so, but I 've been there quite a couple of times. I am quite surprised that this place also receives mediocre or negative reviews as it is definitely the best rodizio on European soil (and I 've been to quite a few all over the continent . It is authentic in food and athmosphere compared to 'original ' places in Brazil. In terms of food, this means tons of excellent BEEF in the first, second and third place. Most cuts are served rare done, except for the delicious cupim, which is sort of slow food Brazilian style. In terms of athmosphere, it is cheerful, busy, loud with live music on many nights If either of this does not suit you, just don 't go there. No place for light eaters, vegetarians or those in search of a romantic candlelight dinner. Going through the negative reviews, many complain about a meat laden diet, to much meat at once etc... which is all positive if you 're into real rodizio. Unlike in many other rodizios where it feels like the waiters have been instructed to look the other way when carrying the best cuts or where you actually have to beg for more, waiters at Mineirão are always eager to serve you more and more. Calculating with roughly 30€ pP (including extra charge for the couvert a standard in Portugal and drinks , the place is way expensive by Portuguese standards. Given what you get and what you pay for, it is, however, excellent value for money in comparison to rodizio places in other European cities. And one final advise: consider organizing someone to pick you up with a wheelchair when leaving the place ;
