Belo Ponto Cafe Snack-Bar

This café is a good walk on the hill, well away from the river and the tourist strip it is full of locals. We had a nice lunch including the famous Franceshina her version also includes bacon and mushroom. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the portions were generously worth the hike!

The place looks like a chain eater with yellow back chairs and rrickety tables, but can be fooled. In two shops (one at 1) this place fills up quickly at about 9 a.m. even during weekdays. I was in the neighboring garden of Boeira... hotel and this place just a few hundred meters from the gates of the hotel. The Francesinha was excellent and worth 10 EUR for each cent. Service was efficient and hospitable. Very recommended place if you stay on Gaia side.

Magníficas Francesinhas, uns cachorros brutais!

Entramos por acaso e estamos encantados. Tanto a comida quanto a equipe eram 10. Provámos a francesina, o prato típico, e estava muito deliciosa, também decidimos partilhar para não nos enchermos e foi um sucesso, e um prato de recheio. A mousse de takata (chocolate) e o cheesecake também foram muito bons. A equipe foi muito simpática e educada. Repetir.
