A Marisqueira - Vila Franca de Xira

Our last dinner in Portugal ended up being the best seafood we had on the trip. There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, but thanks to the patient waitress and google translate, we ended up ordering shrimp, mussels and the bread with butter. To our surprise, the shrimp were served cold (never had them like this before, but they were delicious), while the mussels were served freshly cooked in a yummy sauce. We also ended up ordering more of the bread as it just went really well with both dishes.

We've been here already two times and the both times it was very good. We choose several plates in small quantity so we can eat diferent kind of seafood. Everything was very tasty. Seadfood must be fresh. The best: you can take fresh seafood to...eat at home.

Um bolhão pato e dois bichinhos grandes com um copo de verde a pressão, ficas saciado para o resto do dia. e ainda nao é caro,por enkuanto.

Restaurant--we had the Bacalhau à Casa and it was delicious! The menu looks fabulous ! Great atmosphere and service even with a packed house. We will be returning and definitely trying the sapateira next time !! Keep up the great work.
