El 9,99 Polbo - Vigo

Excellent food! Generous rations and top quality!!! When we go back to Vigo we will definitely return to Polbo Bar.

They tried to rob us. We ordered sangria salad and paella (the one on advertisement . We made clear that we want small sangria (and even asked if it is small when they brought it and 1 paella for one person, as we weren't hungry at all. Food was tasty, but when they brought us reciet, we were surprised. They count big sangria and big paella for two. Even bread that should have bin 1€ was 1.99€. The total difference was 15€ (38€ instead of 23€ . When we told them, that they counted it wrongly, they started to argue with us, but hopefully brought different reciet and we paid the correct price.

Long wait in the line of folks waiting for a table so thought must be good. What a mistake. Musseles to start insipid and are these cooked properly? Paella de Mariscos for two persons 4 musseles ,2 gambas a few hard peas and rice not well cooked. The worst Paella I've eaten in Spain and I live in the country of Spain. The tomatoe salad were unripe tomatoes with a splash of oil not olive oil and not much else a complete disaster as a lunch and not the Menu of the day. With a name 9.99 Polobo Bar they must be refering to the menu of the day We paid 50 euros a terrible waste of money. Vigo has a lot to learn with their service industry service with a a smile costs nothing. This place has more negative comments than good ones must tell the owner something about his restaurant.

Hemos estado pasando de vacaciones por Vigo y tuvimos la casualidad de dar con este local recién llegados y, sinceramente, no nos dejamos llevar en absoluto por las reseñas y, gracias a eso, puedo decir que es de 5 estrellas. El personal muy agradable, sobretodo el chico de gafas que es genial tanto en laboral como en lo personal. En cuanto a comida, recomiendo encarecidamente las empanadas caseras. Están muy buenas. Pulpo, fritura de pescado, mejillones, carne, croquetas, paella…. Todo muy bueno la verdad. A mediodía tienen menú por 9.95 pero está limitado a unas unidades. Si vas a una hora buena, no hay problema en que te lo sirvan, al menos a nosotros nos lo sirvieron. La única pega, por decir algo, que no tienen café pero que vamos… Todo perfecto! Volveremos y muchas gracias por vuestra atención. Por cierto que no me olvide, mirad la fotografía porque además colaboran con una ONG en Medellín.
