Kaisermühle Viersen

Age and rustic in negative sense. No shower, no heating (only heating fans in the room and not in the bathroom) at 3 degrees outside. Old duplicated mattresses. As before at the grandmother in the room. Up to 40€ for the night would be acceptable.

Had a room for one night. The hotel is quiet in a residential area, beautiful next to a large pond. The key transfer went easily through the key safe (precise instructions by post in advance, as restaurant and reception were closed upon arrival. The room was rustic and cozy. The bathroom is very small and the bathtub/shower under a clear roof slope, making use of a challenge. Due to the low occupancy there was a covered breakfast table instead of buffet, again nice: . Overall I enjoyed the short stay. The price is not low, but okay. There are not so many alternatives in the area.

Unfortunately not recommended. The room was very cold at night and the spiders watched us from the corners when sleeping. The staff of the hotel is rustic, but there are well maintained rustic as you wish in a guest house, unfortunately we do not feel the hotel rooms well maintained. The mattresses are pretty hard and not everyone's thing.

We were at a meeting in the hall. When we got out, we saw this beautiful place with the old mill wheel. I almost had tears in my eyes that Viersen's good room is no longer available, as in recent years. Maybe it'll change again.

Very clean hotel, friendly management and practical as event location.
