Two pages of the menu are dedicated to vegan options (amazing knowing that what you’re ordering is 100% vegan). Burger and tacos were delicious, really fresh ingredients and good portion sizes. The cakes were also amazing we tried chocolate and lemon and the chocolate was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Just ask which is vegan because they’re not labelled. The people here are so friendly.
Here you know for sure that all you order is vegan, when you let the waiter know you are vegan. The owner/chef ran out of vegan buns for the burger and came to apologize and told us there was an option for a vegan bagel or (kind of pita instead. The food was all really tasty. The owner also checked if everything was okay with the food (he only did it with us vegans . Definitely try the quasedilla! The flavouring is so good! And ofcourse we could not resist the chocolatecake. It was sooo good. It was just our brunch (slow day and after the cake i concluded: it has been a good day So happy with this yummy cake. We ofcourse complimented his wife who makes the cakes. Go and enjoy the cake! And foods.. and coffees..et cetera.
They currently offering 4 vegan cakes out of 8. We tried the coconut lemon cake and the chocolate cake. Both were just mind blowing, seriously. We had a almond milk cappuccino to it, beautifully served. Overall, best desert ever.
We tried the Empanadas, Bacan Tortillas, and Chorrillana at this restaurant. The empanadas were just okay, filled with soy protein that lacked flavor. However, the green sauce was delicious and we wished there was more of it. The tortillas were good, but mostly consisted of tomatoes, green chilies, and avocado with only a few pieces of tasteless tofu. It was fresh, but adding more marinated tofu would have taken it to the next level. The chorrillana was disappointing in taste, and even ordering extra guacamole didn't fully satisfy us. Overall, we enjoyed the South American cuisine but would likely skip the chorrillana next time. We also observed a mix-up with a vegan dish at another table, where the server had to be reminded by another employee. While everything turned out fine in the end, it seems like not everyone at the restaurant fully understands veganism.
