The Sly & Arny - Vienna

Sly and Arny is a hidden spot with limited signage. This place deserves a 5 for the price. 3-5 euros for wood oven pizza. The ambience is a little odd, crowd is young, service is slow, but the low prices make up for it.

You are great when entering from the owner and one of the waiters and asking how many people will join and if you want a table for smokers or non-smokers, which is perfect. What comes next shocked me massively. You order...2 appetizers and 2 main places and ask for a glass of tap water, and the waitress tells you that this is not possible. Why do you ask? Because you need to order a drink, no matter how much food you order. So, you end up paying near 4€ for something soda water with a slice of lemon because you are forced, unless you would rather leave the restaurant without food in your belly. This policy is nothing but harmful and I will not repeat myself. The food was good. The fries are frozen, not made at home. The pizza dough is not crunchy, but soft and in my case also slightly burned. Food service was terrible. Pizza and pasta lasted about 40 minutes.

This place is perfect for travelers! The food is very cheap for Vienna and delicious. I myself and three others went to dinner and some drinks. We had a daughter with us and she was so satisfied with her range of Vego flours. We asked if they could whip us some espresso martinis and they did, although they were not on the menu. Very recommended for every body looking for a good night on a budget.
