Loving Hut is such a hit and miss chain because every place is operated individually. This one had a lot of dishes that I haven't seen at other locations yet, such as burgers and even Wiener Schnitzel which I decided to order since, well, I was in Vienna. It came with a side of either fries or potato salad so I chose the potato salad which I think is a bit more authentic. Everything was tasty, and it was so cool to be able to eat a veganized version of a Viennese classic. I got a chocolate cake for dessert which was also really tasty, though nothing special. Service was a bit slow, but I overheard the waitress telling someone that the day had been very busy. Through all of that she was still very polite and kept smiling. What I loved most, though, was that there were lots of women from visible minorities, and as a Muslim woman, I always feel good in places that are more diverse because sadly even the vegan community is not exempt from racism and fascism. It was great to be in a place that felt safe in that regard.
Vienna's Neubaugurtel was the first Loving Hut location I visited, and I fell in love with this place! I had the mongolian beef with lavender tea, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are also so nice, and this place is dog friendly!
Lots of vegan dishes and desserts. I ate Fried vegan shrimp and noodle with special peanut sauce etc. All was good to me. Lemon cake is also delicious the staff was so kind. The location is betwwen the 2 subway station, easy to find.
The restaurant had a large number of options both eastern and western (including vegan versions of Wiener Schnitzel and Donner). We ordered to take away both of these and they were good but the first slightly greasy and the second slightly salty for my taste. Visited the garden at the rear which was very green and pleasant
