Charlie P's - Vienna

We made a reservation via the pubs official website (reservation request form) and we got a confirmation mail pretty quick. We wanted to celebrate a graduation there. As we got there we were properly seated, we ordered drinks and food (different burgers and sandwiches with side dishes). For the food we had to wait 45 minutes. After we finished eating we ordered another round of drinks. At that time we were at the restaurant about 90 minutes. What happened next I never experienced in my life: the bartender came to our table with the bill and said we had 10 minutes time to leave (in an unfriendly manner), because the next group is arriving. He asked us if we were informed about that no we were not! On the website the reservation time limit was not mentioned, it was not mentioned in the confirmation mail we got, nor when we were seated, even not when we ordered our second round of drinks. We were practically thrown out of the place! By the time we got the information three of us had full beers (we then had to chug them down in a couple of minutes). We discussed even having desserts and some of us wanted to order additional drinks. We were not presented any alternative tables. That this place calls itself an Irish pub, insults the hospitality for which the Irish are well known around the world! I am not recommending this place to others, who want to spend a nice easy going evening, since its obviously only interested having as many costumers in the shortest period of time and then throws them out!

Nice cheeseburger with sweet potatoes and delicious buffalo wings.. very decent prices and nice beers! The atmosphere is very nice especially if you want to enjoy a soccer/basketball/football match with good friends..! Will definitely visit this place again and it certainly goes to my recommendations. Keep it up guys!

Das Restaurant befindet sich außerhalb der Einkaufspassagen und ist ein toller Ort zum Genießen von Getränken und Speisen. Es gibt sicherlich etwas für jeden Geschmack und alles schmeckt köstlich. Der Service ist freundlich und kein Glas bleibt zu lange leer.

Gemütlicher Pub mit einer großen Auswahl an Bieren, sehr freundliche Bedienung, wir haben unseren Besuch sehr genossen.

Ich war nur hier, um etwas zu trinken, aber es ist eines meiner Lieblingspubs in Wien. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön, es gibt viele Sitzplätze und es ist nicht zu laut. Sehr zu empfehlen.
