It’s concerning how spicy it was; I don't think it's healthy to consume something that intense. Uber Eats only offers two spice levels: default and mild. They claim the default level is perfect, but that's definitely not the case—it’s overwhelmingly spicy. They should really offer a normal spice level as an option. To add to my disappointment, the biryani didn’t come with onions or lemon, which is quite surprising given the prices here. Additionally, there was an excessive amount of spices in the biryani (see my photos). The most irritating part was the broken cinnamon sticks—they should be served whole so that they can be easily removed while eating. Having broken pieces randomly caught between my teeth with every bite is quite frustrating! On a positive note, the raita was fantastic; I appreciated that they didn't include cucumber, which I personally dislike in raita. I found the starter, which was meant to be spicy, to be mild, so I used it to balance out the overwhelmingly spicy biryani.
The Indian food here was delicious. The pani puri was outstanding, and the chicken kadai was excellent as well. The service was clean and prompt. However, the makke ki roti could have been better, as it wasn't a traditional version. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the food and the service.
The front host was welcoming and seated us right away, and our server was attentive and respectful of our space. We chose to sit outside because it was a lovely evening. While there was some light street noise from the nearby main road, it wasn’t bothersome at all. The decor was modern with a touch of retro, creating a nice atmosphere. A quick tip: there’s a parking garage just around the corner, so you can easily find parking by turning down the side street. Overall, a delightful dining experience!
I often order from Bansari, and I must say their Sarsoon Ka Saag is outstanding. As someone from the western part of India, I'd heard about Saag but had never tried it until now. It’s one of the best flavors I've experienced in the USA. Furthermore, their Indo-Chinese dishes are absolutely delicious, and you can choose your spice levels. I highly recommend trying the Chinese Bhel, Veg Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, and Veg Fried Rice. Being a vegetarian, I prefer to order from here because they have excellent delivery service and have never messed up my order.
The Makki Di Roti was of poor quality. It crumbled easily and didn't taste fresh. If you’ve had good Makki Ki Roti before, you can definitely tell that this one was lacking.
