Em passar pela localidade, depois de ver alguns comentários Eu decidi ligar para marcar mesa para o jantar, muito simpaticamente atendido pelo proprietário do restaurante que fez o favor de fazer um belo bacalhau pôr recheado com batatas assadas que foi excelente! Estresso a boa vontade desta casa para nos receber em um dia de semana normal onde o movimento seria previsívelmente fraco e ainda assim fomos bem recebidos, bem servido e bem servido! parabéns casa batida pelo serviço de excelência! voltar com certeza!
Don’t waste your time at this restaurant unless you enjoy being overcharged for an unexceptional small meal. For a party of 3, we were served a small plate with vitela assada com batatas that was barely enough for 2 people. We had to ask for salad and rice, which also a small serving for 1. The waitress claimed the restaurant doesn’t have a menu and was vague with the pricing. Additionally, there is no wine list and wine is served by the bottle. The vitela was good, but a bit dry. I don’t even know what say about the dessert (if it even was dessert); 3 wafer cones with some peach and apple jam. The bill was certainly a huge pancada in the wallet. We were charged €36.50 for just the vitela assada, which the waitress claimed it was 3 servings. Honestly, the portion size was not nowhere near 3 servings, and luckily we didn’t order more because we filled up on bread, which btw we were charged €5. Overall, it was a complete waste of money and disappointing experience for a region that is not commonly known for taking advantage of visitors.

Delicious!! Great for those who want to have a full-on local experience. Situated in an ancient farmhouse with meter thick stone walls. There is no menu and no pricing up front and communications need to get creative if you don't speak Portuguese. You may have a choice of one or two things or no choice at all; you get served what the ladies and granny the cook have decided to make that day, and I can promise you they know how to cook a delightful meal. There is no gourmet chef out there that wouldn't lick his fingers after eating this simple family farm style food. And don't worry about the pricing; who can complain about 10-15 euros a person for a full meal drinks included. I hope to go back some day....
