Amadeus Club - Vidor

10 years in Texas and I know my smoked meat. After living here in Italy for 5 years I finally have a taste of home. The cook is American so he knows his meat and his sauces. Two of us had pulled pork which was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. You can tell the meat is slow cooked in the smoker. Mine was with southern BBQ sauce and my mom had the beer BBQ sauce, both amazing. The other two of us had the classic burger and special burger, both big and juicy as well, with all fresh toppings. French fries were crispy, light and paired with a special sauce. We were all very happy with the food. They had beers on tap ranging from IPA to lager and were a perfect pairing to the meal. The waiter was hilarious and treated us like old friends. The atmosphere is that of an old neighborhood pub, which I love. We sat indoors because of the rain, but there is a nice outdoor area as well. Prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion given the quality of the food and the size. Overall we loved it, which is why we went back the next night as well!
