Steak 'n Shake - Victorville

Oh my goodness, I hadn't been to this place in a while. Last week, we visited the Victorville location and the burgers were disappointing. I only had a tiny piece of romaine lettuce on my burger, and the taste just wasn't the same as I remembered.

This place makes Steak 'n Shake look bad in comparison. If you’ve been here, you’ll know what I mean. Their posted hours of operation are incorrect. Their excuse? It’s the corporate hours. If that’s true, they should adjust their hours and update the information on their doors—come on! The service is awful. They really need to reconsider their management to run this place properly.

We visited on Christmas Day and tried this restaurant for the first time. The burger was decent, although the meat was a bit salty and the fries were somewhat cold. However, the shake was really good.

I absolutely love Steak 'n Shake! They consistently serve high-quality, delicious food at a great price. My only wish is that they had more locations so that even more people could enjoy their fantastic offerings. Whenever I walk into Steak 'n Shake, I feel like I've been transported back in time thanks to their classic interior design. It adds a wonderful touch to the overall dining experience. The burgers, which are a highlight of their menu, are still made the same way they were 50 years ago, showcasing their commitment to tradition and quality. One of the highlights of our trips to and from Las Vegas is always stopping at the Victorville location, which has become a cherished ritual for us. On my recent visit, I decided to change things up and opted for a cup of their chili instead of the usual fries. It was a delightful surprise—rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. It's these small yet significant experiences, coupled with the nostalgic atmosphere, that keep me returning for more.

I visited this restaurant because the last time I was at one was in Indiana. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they even offered us free fries for two as a gesture of goodwill for the wait. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and the delicious food!
