Restaurant la Pomme Verte

This is essentially a breakfast foods place with a lot of choices, including what passes for crepes (really pancakes by US standards), sandwiches, omelettes, etc. The atmosphere is comfortable, but sterile. The service is friendly, but a bit slow. The main problem is that the food is just thrown together without sauces, spicing, or those little additions (like onions in potatoes) that make it better than ordinary. So Pomme Verte is just that ordinary, and with its pricing, it is not a good value for ordinary.

My daughter and I ordered the breakfast casserole and thought it was delicious, although the portion was a bit too large. Unfortunately, my grandson did not enjoy his breakfast panini. My son-in-law opted for the simple eggs and bacon and found it to be good.

Victoriaville is a great value town with incredibly friendly people, including those at Pomme Verte restaurant.

I recently visited their new location on Notre Dame Street, which opened on June 16th and is conveniently located across from the CEGEP. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. I went there for breakfast and found the prices to be reasonable.

Très bon Resto à déjeuner. Les assiettes sont bien garnies, le service est très bien. Les fruits sont frais, beaucoup de choix, chacun y trouve son compte.
