The owner of this restaurant has a fantastic attitude, and the chefs show off their impressive culinary skills. We visited in the afternoon when the bistro was officially closed, but they graciously opened up for us since we had children with us. The bistro boasts a warm and cozy atmosphere with high ceilings, tastefully decorated walls, live music, a beautiful view from the back terrace, and clean restrooms. In addition, there are accommodations and camping options available on the property, making it a great place to relax and stay awhile. They are known for their flexibility in creating vegetarian dishes upon request. The restaurant is child-friendly, with books available for little ones to enjoy. Parking is ample on the large property. Overall, it's a great spot for a delicious meal, with lunch prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person.
Don't miss out, just go. The food is incredible and the staff is even better. This restaurant is a true hidden gem.
Our second time to stay here. (first cedar yurt second tiny house) Everyone here is awesome and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience.
Staying here is an experience for the easy going, open minded souls who can appreciate living with the bare necessities and who won 't get their knickers in a knot for minor discrepancies, inconveniences and Mother Nature. This is not a 5 star hotel, nor is it glamping . It 's a heart based, community run facility nestled in a beautiful piece of land whose owners work very hard to create a wonderfully unique atmosphere and support local artist and initiatives. My husband and I stayed in the Cedar Yurt and took full advantage of the delicious home cooked meals, morning meditation, hot tub rental, personal fire pit, walking trails, paddle board rental and rocky beach perfect for watching sunsets and stargazing. Chatting with the owners and staff only added to our love and appreciation of the concept and space they provided. I booked our stay as a surprise to celebrate my husband 's birthday, and they were kind enough to put a candle in his dessert and play him a tune! Thank you for making our stay lovely and memorable ???? We 'll be sure to stay here again! Diclaimer: The Cedar Yurt is right next to the lodge and parking lot. Quick access to the bathroom and your vehicle, but not so private or quiet. It also doubles as a cedar sauna during the day, smelling divine, but I would suggest packing a small fan. The reservation process is a little ambiguous. Read all of the emails and use your best communication skills and you 'll be fine! Certain areas of the lodgings and property need some updates and TLC. Nothing major, but don 't expect luxury. Cleanliness standards may be sub par for the hypersensitive. If you 're prone to germaphobic tizzies, stay elsewhere.
