Okay stop on your bike, limited food good, good local beer, great service, bathrooms not great, guy with toque n glasses gets in way and looks like Peter Tork from The Monkeys. More pavement in driveway would be good for motorbikes.
Great customer service. Satisfied with all the food I got. The friendly customers in the restaurant showed off their food to us and made recommendations, which helped us decide on our meal. Small menu though, but they got it right with the bread, which is so key to a good sandwich and something many places fail at. We had pork marinated in rootbeer, macaroni, and an ice cream sandwich for dessert. All were delicious. The one point I must voice is to management: Clean and stock the restaurant bathrooms. On the day I went, which wasn't busy for the duration of our lunch, I was appalled to see bathrooms that looked like old school mechanic/gas station toilets--the ones from back in the day before gas stations cleaned up their acts. When I see a bathroom that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, I question the sanitation of the workers, who also use these facilities; I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
This small venue is friendly and funky. The menu, tho limited, serves up tasty and fresh with first class ingredients. A bit pricey for the portions, but it really is good. When it's crowded, service will be slower, but no one goes hungry or thirsty. In the cold weather, with a good crowd, the place is warm, even with all the doors open. On special nights you can hear some fabulous live music, and drool at the motorcycles in the cafe, the parking lot and the shop...not your average biker bar, and well worth the visit, especially on live music nights. See you there!
This is an interesting little place that is maybe trading on its coolness to get away with just okay food ... the soup was soooooooo salty and the bread on my sandwich was very good but the filling was harshly hot and kind of unpleasant. It was about $17 for soup and a sandwich, no drink ... for that much, the food should be better.
