Nice layout, great food and very good prices, and drinkable beers. This is a step above, nice destination, unique and out of the way. No parking issues.
Fun place to spend an evening. Good atmosphere. We ordered 2 plates of wings, the blue cheese hot wings were good but the jerk wings were disappointing. Used a dry rub instead of sauce which became mush...still ate them! Not a downer. It is what is food wise...pub food. Good with a pint of beer! And they had plenty on offer!I would certainly recommend it to anybody who enjoys a fun pub night!!
My wife and I decided to try this pub/restaurant based on hearing about it at a booth at the Sidney market. It was a little unwelcoming when we first walked in. We were not acknowledged and had to ask at the bar where we could sit, despite one of the servers walking around near the entrance. We were also hit with the typical brewery smell as soon as we walked through the door, but this is a brewery after all so what else can you expect? The pub had eight beers on tap, all made on-site. I tried the wheat beer and it was excellent, even served the proper way with a chunk of orange. They also offer some guest beers which change during the year, a gluten free variety, some ciders and wine. The food menu is not large but it offers a good choice including appetizers, soups and salads, tacos, rice bowls, sandwiches and desserts. There are also daily specials. My wife and I had the BBQ chicken, bacon, brie sandwich which turned out to be a giant burger with a ton of French fries. No complaints about small servings. It was an excellent meal. Our server, Sally, did a terrific job and had a very good sense of humour.Would we return? Probably. The food and beer are very good. When comparing it to a place like Canoe, it is certainly more down to earth and noisier. It's more of a "team hangout" or at least a place catering to a younger crowd.
Popped into this pub - unassuming from the outside. Plain decor. Great, friendly service. Delicious food. Beef pie and blue cheese chicken wings were amazing!
A comfy hideaway where you certainly can smell the malt and hops. Their Tuesday deal is excellent.. Two IPAs, a couple of guest taps, and other brews of theirs. As of Aug 08/2017 they still have a 19+ age restriction that they should deal with, as most other brewpubs ave gone to the 7PM cut-off. All in alll you can't go wrong here.
