Owner refuses to install AC. Staff left because it was too hot.

Had the black bean burger and soup and it was fantastic! The waitress was very accommodating to ensure the condiments and sides were veganized and the service was pleasant.

We wanted to get a meal in Baddeck and all the other restaurants on happy cow were closed because the tourist season is over. We found this place while wandering and although there is nothing marked vegan option on the menu, the waitress was well versed in what vegan meant and suggested several options. I chose the black bean burger and salad both veganized. It was probably the best black bean burger I’ve ever had and one of the best vegan burgers ever. It had tons of naturally vegan toppings most places don’t have like relish, pickles, onions. And the salad was so huge and healthy and lovely. Updated from previous review on 2020 10 15

We had a bit of a wait to get in but wow was well worth the wait. Had my very first lobster roll which was delicious but the salad with the maple dressing was to die for. My hubby had the seafood linguine which he said was outstanding. Friendly and efficient service despite being incredibly busy. 10/10
