Sun Wah Chinese Restaurant - Victoria

We had takeout from here for the first time last night as our usual favourite is now closed on Sundays, breaking the Chinese restaurant tradition of closing

It was okay. Pretty greasy. Lean sweet and sour pork was definitely not lean. Wasn't very hot when it arrived.

We were the guest of Victoria residents. The restaurant has excellent decor and the staff are very friendly and obliging. The food was well presented and tasty. There is ample FREE parking. We will return. One disappointing experience was a very short walk in the park just across the street. The city of Vancouver is lax in cleaning this area . I will not go into details however just say DO NOT walk in or allow dogs or children to go there. This in no way reflects on the restaurant but when traveling an occasional walk is a must. This park is extremely dirty,and unsafe to use.
