Sticky Wicket Pub At The Strathcona

While Victoria's Dine Around event, six of us chose Sticky Wicket Pub for her steak and lobster dinner complete with appetizer and dessert. I asked for a quiet area when I booked the reservation. We sat in a small alcove from the main restaurant, a perfect place. Our server was thrilled and has received every wish. Our meal exceeded expectations. Steak and lobster were both generous portions and attractively presented with vegetables. This pub will go to my favorite list.

Good food, decent beer and wine selection and good service. Gets loud after about nine more music pumped speakers so less pleasant for chilling and chat with friends.

We had the three course “dine around” menu and it was excellent. Cooked just right and tasty. Our server was thoughtful and attentive. We had gone to watch the Canada vs El Salvador soccer match on their big screen and they kept the volume down until the match started and then raised it just the right amount so we could hear but not be deafened. Altogether a super pleasant night out.

The dine around menu is an excellent value. Will go again.

The food was great I had the Pizza that was 1/2 price and the prices for the drinks were great. Had a fabulous night!
