Paul's Motor Inn - Victoria

HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDWe were in Victoria visiting my wife's father. He took us to Paul's Restaurant; a favourite of his for great food at reasonable prices. He did not disappoint; this diner was clean, well organised and with a concise menu full of really good comfort food at more than reasonable prices. I was on a very strict diet but still had a great meal of lobster & shrimp crepes with coleslaw. My wife had a beef dip with fries and salad, her dad had the veal cutlets with mashed potatoes and fresh steamed vegetables. All of our dishes were well portioned and very tasty. With drinks and desert our bill was under $60! I would definitely have to make another trip here (after the diet of course).

Only had breakfast and the front desk said that after eating there would not need lunch. They were correct. Really tasty and really great value. Wait for my next visit to try dinner.

The food is fantastic we couldn't believe how much food you got for the price atmosphere was meet old pictures and signs a 50 style we ate there lots service was fantastic

Lovely lunch in a throw back diner. Ultimate burger got an enthusiastic thumbs up from our 18 year old, liver and onions for Dad and a really good salmon salad for me. I am too often amazed at the inability of west coast eateries to produce a good, simple piece of salmon. No problem here. Friendly and prompt service made for a great lunch experience.

Nothing mind blowing here, just food that's satisfying and made out of better than usual diner ingredients. Good for club sandwich type fare. Bright room, friendly staff, lots of regulars it seems.
